    Murder Again

At Murder Again, based in Ashford, Kent, we put on Murder/Mystery evenings to raise money, which we donate to charities. All money raised, less any small expenses, goes to our nominated charity. We always rehearse at our own houses, so that there is no expense for hiring a venue.

We perform for organisations – schools, village halls, pubs, restaurants, churches and any other organisations that want us – for a fee, which we donate to our chosen charity.

We arrive at your venue about 2 hours before the start of the evening in order to arrange our material on the tables and to rehearse in the venue, as we have not done that beforehand.

We choose local charities and those which do not have large media interest – we believe that charity begins at home.

  • What does a murder mystery evening consist of?

    broken image

    Part 1

We perform a short play, about 20 minutes, during which someone is murdered. At a very convenient moment, a detective turns up out of the blue and takes charge. All the rest of the cast are suspects and have motive and opportunity to commit the crime. The suspects are taken off for interrogation.

    broken image

    Part 2

The suspects are brought back for questioning by the audience. During this round, all the answers are Yes, No or Don’t Know. Only the murderer can lie.

    broken image

    Part 3

After a suitable interval, for the audience to collect their thoughts, the suspects are brought back again for a further round of questioning by the audience. This time, the suspects have to give a full answer. Only the murderer can lie.

    broken image

    Part 4

Time for the audience to put down, on the answer sheets, who they think the murderer is, how they did it, and why. The sheets are then collected in.

    Part 5

The suspects are brought out again and the murderer revealed and the confession made. The winning table receives a prize.
